What do you do when your local business has dried up?

Over time your business may seem a reduction in foot traffic and revenue if you not doing some form of advertising these days. Traditional forms of advertising like local newspapers and magazines are considered a shot in the dark form of advertising since its very difficult to calculate metrics of viewership.  Trends are showing more and more usage on mobile phones then ever before. That being said it only makes sense to go where the people are going to get your message in front of all that traffic. Social media is definately a great place to post your content. Just to name a few of the major social networks for sending content ou are, but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and InstaGram. Of course you could pay for google ads and hope that people who are searching for silimar items.  Same with Facebook, your ad will just go in front of a large audience while the user is interacting with Facebook. Since Facebook has so many users some advertisers have made a fortune from Facebook and social media ads in general.

What if you wanted more?

Theres a new mobile marketing platform thats very interesting. Its called Grapevine Local Club. Its an app where users opt in to view offers from local businesses. Its actually people looking offers or experiences in your area. This is very highly targeted traffic. Their business model is rather simple. Businesses sign up on a monthly fee and are able to post various offers and experiences on their app. Thats it.  No money is required by the user to redeem thee offers on the app.  The offer is redeemed right in the store.  The business keeps 100% of ALL the revenue generated. There is absolutely no commission.  The businesses just pay a base fee for the month. This is a very good technique for business owners of today to use technology to get more traffic and increase revenue.
